The River Ridge Stables horse camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. 


 
 
 

SUMMER YOUTH HORSE CAMPS:

Monday, June 10 - Friday, June 14, 2024
Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2, 2024
Monday, August 12 - Friday August 16, 2024

If all three camps fill up, we will run another session in August!

$350 per Rider per week

Embark on a fun-filled week into the world of horsemanship with our youth horse camps, designed to cater to young riders of all experience levels. Our camps are not just about riding; they're about forming lasting connections with the horses and with fellow campers, learning the responsibilities that goes into caring for the horses and their environment, all while enjoying the great outdoors. Whether your child is getting in the saddle for the first time or looking to hone their riding skills further, our camps provide the perfect blend of learning, adventure, and fun.

Daily Camp Schedule
Monday - Wednesday: Drop off at 9:00am / Pick up at 3:00pm (Bring a sack lunch)
Thursday: Drop off at 1:00pm for an overnight at the Barn (Dinner provided)
Friday: Pick up at 12:00pm (Breakfast provided)

  • Limited Space: We limit each camp to 15 riders.

  • Cost: Each week is $350 per Rider. Due in full by the first day of the camp.

What’s all included?

  • Lessons for riders of all levels. Advance riding skills both in English and Western disciplines for intermediate to advanced riders

    Areas of focus includes: equitation, jumping, vaulting, dressage, lunging, pole/cavaletti work, and trail riding.

  • Learn how to properly care for our horses, understanding their needs and how to keep them healthy and happy.

  • Explore horse conformation, understanding how a horse's build affects its health and abilities.

  • Gain insight into the different types of tack, the purposes of what equpiment you use, and how to maintain them.

  • Embrace the responsibilities that come with being a rider, fostering a deeper connection between you and your horse.

  • The week caps off with an unforgettable cookout and overnight sleepover at the Barn!
