$350 per Rider + Haywire Show Fees

 

If you’re new to eventing or are a seasoned competitor, join us for a fun week focused on the sport of 3-day eventing. Work on your foundation of dressage and apply it stadium jumping in the arena and while schooling our at-home cross country course. By the end of the week, we load up our horses and head to Haywire Farms in Galena to compete in a mini-event as the River Ridge Team!

*In order to participate in this camp, we do require all riders to have their own horses, lease horses are allowed. No lesson horses can be used for this camp without approval from Steph.

Eventing Camp Schedule
Tuesday - Thursday: Drop off at 9:00am / Pick up at 3:00pm (Bring a sack lunch)
Friday: Drop off at 1:00pm for an overnight at the Barn (Dinner provided)
Saturday: Pick up at 12:00pm (Breakfast provided)

  • Limited Space: We limit each camp to 15 riders.

  • Cost: Each week is $350 per Rider. Due in full by the first day of the camp. Entry Fee for Haywire Mini-Event is NOT INCLUDED in the camp price.

What’s all included?

  • Daily lessons focused on the fundamentals of Eventing: Dressage, Cross Country, and Stadium Jumping.

  • Learn how to properly care for your horse in all phases of eventing.

  • What makes a good eventer when it comes to body build and conformation?

  • Understand the different aspects to the tack you use in each phase of eventing.

  • Embrace the responsibilities that come with being an Eventer.

  • Time to prep your horses for the mini-event on Saturday! Spend Friday night, getting ready for the competition while also enjoying your fellow campers company while having a cookout at the Barn and overnight in the indoor arena. Get some sleep though - competition days start EARLY!

  • The camp will haul to Haywire Farms in Galena, IL to participate in their annual IDCTA mini-event.
